Josephine Ethel "Jo" Hawkins, age 76, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024. She was born October 24, 1947, to Leland and Helen (nee: Ehrstein) Hughes. They have preceded her in death. She is survived by: her husband Jerry of 54 years; her sons: Andrew (Paula), Bill (Laurie); her grandson Cale; her step-grandchildren: Tony Lombardo, Abby Arvold, Rebecca Arvold; her step-great-grandchildren: Aria, Vivian; her God-children: Michael and Mia Goldberg; and her brother in law Franklin Hawkins.
Jo was a member of Oncology Nursing Society. She was a proud employee of Barnes-Jewish Hospital for 38 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and all her family. She enjoyed movies, reading, and going to eat with friends (she particularly enjoyed her time with "the lunch bunch"). She was an avid cat lover.
