kevin was kevy-kev to me.for 20yrs we worked no more than 10ft apart. we became friends as well as brothers. we had lunch many times at white knight, the best burger in st louis, went to hocky and baseball games. we laughed and joked when should've been working. i did most of the laughing, because kevy-kev was so  funny i could'nt stop. thank you my brother for all the good times , i'll miss you.
i know your family will miss you more.

Kevin and Rickey have been in my thoughts for awhile lately.  The death of one of our St. louis Cardinals heroes (Orlando Cepada) brought back so many memories of our childhood.  Kevin and I had matching transistor radios with earphones.  We never missed a listening to a game.  Between games we’d listen to Eddie Rabbit on KXLK or other radio shows.  From toddlers on through grade school, we ran 22nd street with trikes, wagons, bikes and skates.   We’d collect soda bottles for popsicles and sodas to share with Rickey and my sister Patty.  We were inseparable until we were uprooted to Illinois.  What awesome memories we shared.  I’ve often looked for my blue eyed friend, but never found him.  Patty sent me a message last night with the sad news.  Many tears have fallen and continue.  Some sad tears, but also many of joy.  Our friendship was so pure and innocent from a long gone era that no one from future generations will ever know. Someday, I’ll see him again in Heaven.  In the meantime, I’m sure Kevin is having a great time catching up with our favorite sports players while enjoying Cracker Jacks, penny candy, Hubba Bubba and Bazooka gum (we collected the comics) and getting autographs for baseball cards.  He’s probably also catching up on the latest comic books we used to share.   Kevin, I’ll never forget you.  Your wings were ready long before our hearts could ever imagine losing you.  I was hoping to see you again, but I’m sure we’ll meet someday in Heaven.  We’ll have so many sports scores to catch up on.  Save a popsicle for Ricky, Patty and me. To The Meyers Family,

To all of you, my wife and I would like to extend our most heartfelt condolences with the passing of your loved one, Mr. Kevin (The Hockey Man) Meyers. In this time of great sorrow, please know that you are in our thoughts and our prayers.

While those left behind may grieve, we pray that all of you will take comfort in knowing that Kevin now rests peacefully with Jesus Christ. 

We are united in prayer and intercession for you all on this day and in the days ahead.  May the comfort of the Holy Spirit, and the sweet memories of happier times and precious moments bring you peace during your time of sorrow. 

We say to you, “lift up your eyes unto the hills from whence cometh your help, and that your help cometh from the Lord” (Psalms 121:1-2).

My thoughts and prayers go out to Kevin’s family! I have a lot of memories of Kevin from the first time we met at Holy Name Grade School when we both started kindergarten together.  There were many times going to the Blues games especially the old Arena. We had fun times playing softball together and attending some Cardinal games especially when one of his favorite teams were playing. The Los Angeles Dodgers. I also remember his love of hockey especially the New York Rangers. R.I.P. my Friend. You will surely be missed. Love you like a brother!

Rick and family, when I heard of Kevin’s passing many fond and funny memories flooded my mind. We worked together for eighteen years and during that time, I became one of his many friends. We shared a love for reading ads in the Riverfront Times, that almost got us In to trouble a few of times.🤭 He will be missed…….

I worked with Kevin starting in the 80’s at Blue Cross Blue Shield in claims.  Kevin always  came out to cheer on our Baby Blue Express gals softball team even if we lost most of our games , but we sure had fun!
I knew Kevin was a huge Blues Hockey fan but how did I miss his love of  NY Rangers!???  Ha! I would not have been able to relate I’m sure! 

I know he also enjoyed music, KSHE95, and  Moody Blues at that! Kevin, my husband Sam and I got to see MB  at the New Riverport venue! Great time! 

Thru the years BCBS associates eemed to go in different directions. After BCBS Kevin  shared how he loved his new Enterprise gig and great people he worked with!

I am so glad to recently reunite with my friend at the Blue Cross retirees lunches! We picked right up where we left off…

Kevin, we will miss you for now until we meet again! 

I must say .Let's  GO BLUES ...ok,Rangers,too! 

I been knowing Kevin ever since he started at Blue Cross/ Blue Shield, I don’t remember how many years.  I was so sorry to hear about the passing of a amazing person. My memory of Kevin, he always had a smile on his face, even thru the beard.  He had such a kind heart  💜. We will miss you at the monthly Blue Cross/Blue Shield retirement luncheon.  Rest in peace Kev

I have known Kevin for 48 years, worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield for 45. Not in the same department but back in the late 70’s he and I and Joe Aiello would go to lunch together every day. He was the nicest guy. I kinda lost track of him when he worked in Customer Service for Healthlink but then he got in touch with me to let me know he was retiring. He joined the retirement club and we would sit at the same table about every month. He was such a kind soul annd a great person and always seemed upbeat. He loved his job at Enterprise. He will be greatly missed by me and many others.

I knew Kevin from when we both worked for Blue Cross. Kevin was a delight to be around and such a nice guy. He loved the St. Louis Blues so Kev in your memory GO BLUES! I will miss sitting with you at the Retiree luncheons. RIP buddy.

I worked with Kevin from 2016-2021. He lightened my days, from hearing his calls, and eating Gus chicken, Wendy’s and his favorite  foods. He always kept me laughing and I will miss him so much.
