My personal tribute to my BESTEST friend Kiem.

I've known Kiem since their children were in grade school and now they are all outstanding professionals.
In my late pregnancy with my son David, when my husband had to go out of town for business, they told me to spend the night at their home in case I go into early labor. Kiem even picked me up from the hospital when David was born. 
Our friendship had just grown closer with years. I can still hear her sometimes said, "I'm telling you this because you are like my sister."

When my husband was ill for 3 years after the stroke, unless he was in the hospital, rain or sunshine, Ham came to the house with Kiem every Sunday to check on him, I know it is unheard of, but that is the kind of people they are.

Kiem was always the life of the party when we get together - at weddings, trips, cruises etc. You can always tell, the table with the loudest laughter was always the table where she was.

We saw each other quite often. We shared our concerns and our joys. Since I moved to VA almost 3 years ago, we still talked over the phone  just about every week and said good bye with 'I love you'.

Kiem, I will always treasure the memories we had together. I love you so much and will always miss you.
