L. Doreen Hiatt our beautiful purple lady, dressed to the nines always. We will never see purple without thinking of her. Doreen was the first sister to 5 siblings. She and Gloria had fierce protectors in their brothers, especially when it came to boys! There is no doubt that they are happy being all together and joining their Mom and Dad in heaven.
Doreen was a proud Rough Rider graduating from Roosevelt High School in south St. Louis city where she lived most of her life in the South Hampton Neighborhood surrounded by many special and very caring neighbors. She was very smart and respected , retiring from her position as executive secretary from Anheuser Busch.
Doreen was a wife, mother, a very religious person, friend to many with a beautiful kind soul. Some of her fondest days were spent in her marvelous award winning flower garden, visiting with the neighbors and feeding dog bones to all the dogs of her neighborhood, much to their tail wagging delite.
More than she knew, we loved her and will miss her always.
