Lylas Chatmon, MSN, born June 23, 1947, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2026, surrounded by family. She leaves behind her loving husband of 60 years, Ronald; her children Wesley (Judi) Chatmon, Rhonda (Larry) Olson, Bryan (Stacy) Chatmon, and Sherry (Dennis) Barks; grandchildren Taryn (Jack) Robinson, Taylor (Corey) Olson, Matt (Kat) Chatmon, Andrew Chatmon, Brianna and Kailey Olson, and Nicholas Barks; and great grandchildren Colton and Hudson Olson, Mason, Maverick, and Mackenzie Robinson, and Levi Chatmon.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, whose kindness, strength, and generosity touched everyone who knew her. She devoted her life to caring for her family and creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved.
