Margaret Catherine Rankin, age 88, of Creve Coeur, Missouri passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025. She was born October 2, 1936, to Joseph and Ellen (nee:Loser) Hughes. They have preceded her in death, as has her sister Mary Ellen Hughes, and her daughter, Michelle Rankin. She is survived by: her husband of 64 years - Eugene Rankin; her son Eugene J. Rankin, PhD (Tricia); her daughter Christine Rankin, PhD; her grandchildren: Natalie Rankin, J.D., Zachary Rankin (Alyssa).
Margaret was a member of Incarnate Word Parish. She was a long-time legal secretary at Sverdrup & Parcel. She taught English as a second language to college students from abroad. She loved her Dobermans and enjoyed obedience training with them.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wildlife Animal Sanctuary of St. Louis.
