Mikhail Matveyev

Mikhail is survived by his loving wife, Severina Dimova and his beautiful son, Max. He also leaves behind his mother and step-father Dolores and Vlad Zhitomirsky and his father Sergey Matveyev, his brother Daniel Zhitomoirsky, and adoring aunt, Mela Burmak, cousin, Gary (Victoria) Barmak and their children, Ben and Sophie. He will be greatly missed by family and countless friends.

Mikhail loved the beauty of nature and the outdoors, he spent a lot of time hiking with his family and fishing off the Chain of Rocks Bridge. He was a man of many talents, he was a sculptor and co-founder of VMD Sculpting, Inc. in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a lead character ballet dancer with the St. Louis Ballet. Mikhail earned his Bachelor in Science and Arts through Washington University of St. Louis, Missouri.

He brought so much light into the world and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

A visitation for Mikhail will be held Friday, March 25, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Kriegshauser Mortuary-West Chapel, 9450 Olive Blvd, St. Louis, Missouri.
