CORCORAN, Nancy Anna (nee Fahy), 81, fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Monday, March 21, 2016. Loving mother of Kerry (Kathy), Suzanne (Joe) McGauley, Edward Coyne, and Kenneth (Llynn White) Coyne; dear grandmother of Connor, Emma, Michael, Jack, Aidan, and Rory; dear sister of Maureen McNena and the late Margaret "Peggy" Cornell, Michael Fahy, and Patrick Fahy; dear cousin, aunt, and friend to many.
Nancy loved people and getting out and about, whether it be shopping or just taking a walk. Spring was her favorite season and St. Patrick's Day was the start of that celebration. She was very proud of her Irish heritage and while born in Jersey City, NJ to Michael Patrick and Anne (nee Long), she spent much of her childhood growing up in Galway, Ireland. Nancy spent most of her career as a recruiter for a major St. Louis law firm, then serving as a patient advocate and Lay Eucharistic Minister at Barnes Hospital. She was always active, had many friends, and enjoyed her outings to the movies, symphony, and theatre. She read often and kept well informed of the world around her and was eager to engage in political debate. Nancy was fortified by her deep faith, which sustained her through difficult times. But of course, family was most important to her and she loved them dearly.
