Beloved wife of the late John E. Scherr; beloved mother of John S. (Judy) Scherr; beloved grandmother of John E. (Karen) Scherr and Beth A. (Adam) Haggerty; beloved great-grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Nelka was a faithful member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church from 1913 until her death.
The funeral will be conducted in Gethsemane Lutheran Church on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 10:00 AM. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 25, from 4-8 PM at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd., and also on Thursday at the church, one hour prior to the funeral service.
