Peter "Coach" Willenborg

Beloved husband for 25 years of Rosemary “Rosie” Willenborg; dear father of Peter (Brooke), Matthew (Michelle), Mimi (David) Hayden, and Michael Willenborg; dear step-father of Tom Patton and the late Debbie (Randy) Null; dear grandfather of Jake, Frank, Mia, George, Elle, Lennon, Tommy, and Tyler.

Pete moved to St. Louis in 1960 to live with his uncle, Duke Duford, the head football coach of St. Louis University. He began his coaching and teaching career at Laboure H.S., 1960-65, then to Brentwood H.S. until 1970. While coaching at Brentwood, his football team was undefeated for 4 seasons. He began a career in office supply sales retiring in 1996 due to ill health.

A Memorial visitation will be Friday, February 8, from 4-8 PM at Kriegshauser West, 9450 Olive Blvd, Olivette. A Memorial Mass will be Saturday, February 9, at 11:00 AM at St. Richards Church, 11223 Schuetz Rd., Creve Coeur.

The family wishes to Thank all of Pete's caregivers at St. Luke's Hospice.
