Robert (Bob or Bobby) Lynn Fraser died Monday, March 9, 2026, at his home in Imperial, MO. Robert will be remembered for his boisterous laugh, quirky attitude, and his love of fun with family and friends.
Robert was born on December 5, 1965, and raised in Poplar Bluff by Sharon and Andy (who predeceased him).
Robert was a talented artist and attended community college on an art scholarship before earning his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Kansas City Art Institute.
He later moved to the St. Louis area, where he met Laura. They married in 1999 and built a life centered on family. Robert’s greatest joy was his children, and he did everything he could to make them happy.
He gained energy from his connections with close friends and family and was always setting up the next float trip, game night, trip for margaritas and tacos or a good pour at a microbrewery.
He also loved looking for the next great find (estate sales, flea markets, “dirt fishing,” and bottle diving) and enjoyed a great mystery / conspiracy theory (could it be the pyramids were built by aliens?).
He is survived by his wife, Laura; their children Eden (and her husband Andy), Jake, and Evan. Also mourning his loss are his mother, Sharon Fraser; his brothers John (and his husband Joshua), Earl, Bill (and his husband Stephen), and Jim (and his wife Linda); along with many dear friends, extended family members, and coworkers who will miss Robert’s humor, creativity, and presence.
Visitation will be held at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125, US, on March 21, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
