Robert W. Paster passed away on January 9, 2026. Cherished son of Phillip J. (Jim) Paster and the late Flora A. Paster; father of Steven Paster (Abby Finkle) and Leah Paster; dear brother of Andrew Paster and David Paster.
Bob was extremely helpful to his clients in his estate planning practice. He thoroughly enjoyed his authorship of a car column for Town & Style and his trips to Wisconsin to drive the new models. He was a car enthusiast who loved his cars and driving. Bob attended Clayton High School and played on the hockey and racquetball teams. He attended the University of Pennsylvania as an undergraduate and Washington University Law School. His “15 minutes of fame” occurred when he shook the hand of Princess Diana while a student in London.
Chapel service at Berger Memorial on Tuesday, January 13 at 9:30 am with visitation beginning at 9:00 am. Interment to follow at Beth Hamedrosh Hagodol Cemetery, 9125 Ladue Road.
