Preceded in death by her parents, Carlo and Jessie, her loving husband of 58 years, Vincent J. "Jimmie", and her brothers, Luigi and Vito.
Rosalie is survived by her daughters, Rosalie (George) Graff and Jessica (the late David) Fitzgerald, grandsons George and James J. Graff, and many loving nieces and nephews. She had a special friendship with her "bestie" Kathy - with a shared devotion to the Blessed Virgin and daily rosary at various churches to treks to the Casino and much shopping in between.
She was super proud of her Sicilian heritage and loved growing up on The Hill. Her cooking was almost as "legendary" as her homemade bread. She had so many friends and cousins who passed and she became a "mother figure" to many of their children. Her biggest love was her family, especially her grandsons, George and J.J.
Her legacy to us all was love.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 10am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 5130 Wilson Avenue 63110, with a one-hour visitation before Mass.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rosalie's name to the Sick and Elderly Program of The Hill would be greatly appreciated by her family.
