Dear Bob,Craig and Eric,
It has taken some time to even realize Sandy's death much less respond to it in a meaningful way. when Bob and I made the difficult decision to return to St. Louis , the Saur family opened every aspect of your lives and hearts to us, welcoming and embracing us in every way possible. Sandy was truly the heart and soul of your family, she improved every occasion by just being there.she brought lightness and fun to anything she did. she was an accomplished wife, mother,   grandmother, cook, entertainer, movie goer and always a supportive life partner!  Sandy and I were so pleased when David and Craig chose each others friendship. We will always be grateful to your family for your support during the terrible time of our loss.. I am grateful for Conrad Properties for bringing the idea of Boone Valley to fruition, and for starting me on what turned out to be a very successful career path. In so many ways our lives and good times intertwined, Sandy was at the thoughtful center of All of it.We will miss her sunny smile and goofy jokes, and happy companionship. Her memory will always be in our hearts. we love you guys----

Bob, Eric, Craig:  My deepest sympathy to you.   I will always remember Sandy's marvelous laugh.  We had a lot of fun playing tennis for several years.  I treasure good memories of her and your family being next door years ago.

Sandy, my friend since Kindergarten. Since your passing I've been remembering so many things, how we played dolls together; sleigh riding and shoe skating at O'Fallon park; dancing every Sunday night at teen town;  sitting on the concrete wall at your house and singing, we covered all the popular songs plus Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra;  getting tickled about something and belly laughing for what seemed like hours.   What great fun it was growing up with you.  As you said recently, even though we didn't see one another all the time we would pick up right where we left off, always with something to laugh about.  I will cherish our times together and will miss not being able to pick up where we left off.

I was lucky enough to watch your love story unfold....Salesman Sam (the high schoold shoe salesman) and my "big cousin" falling in love, moving in their first place, the first turkey dinner for us cousins, the birth of your sons.  I remember the cowboy hats and dancing on Main Street and all the holidays we shared.  Sandy you will always hold a special place in my heart.  Love you cuz!

When I think of Sandy, I smile! I don't think I've ever known anyone with the zest for life like she had. She was a happy person and she adored her family most of all. I know  God welcomed her with open arms......

Sandy was one of the happiest people I have ever known.  She always had a smile on her face and ready for a good time.  She loved her family dearly and always talked about them with the golf girls from Norwood.  She will be missed.

Thank you for sharing the family photographs.  Sandy sure did live, love and laugh with gusto.  I imagine right about now she's sharing the stage with Patsy Cline and a full band, singing Crazy and giggling like a school girl.

Sandy's zest for life sure will be missed...

Sandy was one of my favorite neighbors at Maryland Walk. She was always so upbeat as we shared grandchildren and dog stories.  She loved her family more than anything and I knnow she will be sadly missed by so many people.  My thoughts and prayers are with the Saur family.

To Bob, Craig & Eric- I was so saddened to hear the loss of Sandy. She was a fun-loving person who thoroughly enjoyed her life and her family. It was a privilege being a part of the Conrad Properties Family in which we all share many fond memories of Sandy. She will be greatly missed by all her knew her. My deepest sympathy to all of Sandy's family. I have had the honor and pleasure of serving Bob and Sandy as their CPA for many years. I always felt that I was associated with the classiest of couples in the Saurs and paricularly remember Sandy's kindness to me.

Sandy was a spectacular woman.  I'll miss the hugs and dip in the bank's lobby.  She always brought a smile to my face and to all those around her.  Please accept my deepest sympathy.

Sandy was such a positive, uplifting personality.  She made me smile within 5 seconds of any conversation.  My families prayers are with Bob and his sons.
