Our sister-in-law said,  when hearing of Steve’s passing,  that there were no more perfect neighbors, than the Gianinos.  It is absolutely the truth. We were blessed to live next door to them on Kenrick Manor Ct.  From day one, they gave us love, kindness and many times, a helping hand. 
One particular helping hand came when dear Steve drove me and our 8 month old, Greg, to the hospital, after he had gone down the steps in his walker.  I was a wreck and carried my baby outside when I saw Steve in the yard.  Steve calmed me, and took charge, when I could not.  I always thought Steve had a special place in his heart for Greg, as he was growing up.
On a more fun note, Steve would tell us often, that our oldest son would be a major leaguer some day. He would watch our Michael hitting baseballs back and forth in the yard.
Our girls were frequent visitors next door. Jessica and Kimberly were always welcomed with open arms.  Steve would tell us stories of their visits.
He would talk about Kimberly having coffee with him every morning.
And Steve would have a lot of fun with our youngest, Matthew,  checking high school sport scores. Our Matthew was attending Vianney and Steve, of course, cheering on CBC.
Russ and Steve had an ongoing rivalry of whose yard was the most manicured. One summer,  while we traveled to Denver,  Steve brought in the mail, as we requested. Upon our return,  we were shocked that our grass had never looked better.  Steve had faithfully watered it in our absence.
After they moved to their gorgeous home in Clayton, we were very blessed to continue our relationship with them and other friends from the neighborhood. We went out for dinner and even enjoyed dinner at their new home. Steve was so excited to show us the place.
Thanks to Michael, we were able to stay in touch through the pandemic.
We send our deepest sympathies and much love to Kay, and  the entire beautiful family!




So sorry to learn of Steve’s passing.  Remembering all the good times when we all lived on Holyoke Drive. With Both of us being 89 we continue to loose good friends.  That was a very special time, we are sure that you have the same memories.  Steve is in our prayers, we are sure he has gone to his reward.

Steve was such a kind and caring family man. He had a wonderful sense of humor. Never one for forgetting his heritage, he frequently resorted to speaking Italian when he was frustrated. My limited grasp of speaking Italian consists mostly of swearing thanks to Uncle Steve!  Rest In Peace, as you will be missed but never forgotten.

There are so many wonderful memories that I will cherish , Steve was such a wonderful and caring man for everyone around him.  His top concern daily was always making sure his bride Kay had what she needed and was happy .  I remember when they moved into our community everyday he would always make sure that before she woke he would make sure he went and got her some coffee and a pastry.  He had such a heart of gold , he shared so many stories with me and the love he had for his family was something words couldn’t express .  
From memories of putting the Christmas tree up each year at Allegro and he making sure there were no holes seen to him helping us pick up 40 mums in the fall .  He has left such wonderful memories for all that was honored to know him .  He will be missed ❤️
