Beloved father and father-in-law of Jennifer (Lasky) and Michael Dalke of Leawood, KS and Amy (Lasky) and Jason Hollander of Wake Forest, NC; wonderful grandfather to Madeline, Benjamin, Allison and the late Sarah Dalke, and Bryce and Chase Hollander; the son of the late Ben and Pearl Lasky; dear brother of Roberta (Bobbie) Reed and the late Sonia (Sonny) Foster; wonderful brother-in-law to Marvin Foster and the late George Reed; loving uncle to many.
Terry was a man of many wonderful traits. Most notable was his love of family. He was at his happiest when the whole family was together. Terry also had a great sense of humor. Regardless if you were young or elderly, family or a stranger, when you were in the presence of Terry, you were laughing.
Terry was proud of his extensive record collection that consisted of music from the 50's through the 80’s. He would make cassette tapes of his favorite tunes to have with him at all times. He was also a fabulous dancer who would show off his dance moves at weddings and family get-togethers.
Terry graduated University High School in St. Louis in 1965 where he excelled in track and football. He was also a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a degree in Physical Education. Upon graduation, he was a a PE teacher at McKelvey Elementary School (Parkway School District in St. Louis County). Terry then later worked in the garment wholesale industry for nearly two decades and was often recognized as a top salesman. In this industry, he enjoyed meeting new people and made lifelong friends.
Terry’s last words on any phone call with loved ones were “Love you more”, so to him we say, “We love you more.”
