Audrey Bonin Hebert

COTEAU HOLMES – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mrs. Leus Hebert, Sr., the former Audrey Bonin, age 64, at 10:00 am on Monday, September 19, 2011 at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church. Fr. Jose will be the celebrant for the services. Interment will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 9:00 am until 10:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Evangeline Funeral home of St. Martinville. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Monday until service time.

A native and resident of St. Martinville, Mrs. Hebert passed away on Friday, September 16, 2011 at her residence.

Mrs. Hebert was a member of St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family, playing cards and pokeno. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Leus Hebert, Sr. of St. Martinville; one son, Leus Hebert, Jr. of St. Martinville; two daughters, Dorrie Bourque and her husband Merlin Bourque, Jr. of New Iberia and Barbara Hebert Dupuis and husband Dwayne of St. Martinville; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two brothers and seven sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robin and Helena Domingue Bonin and one brother.

Pallbearers will be Leus Hebert, Jr., Dwayne Dupuis, Merlin Bourque, Jr., Larry Escagne, Nicholas Bonin, Jr. and Ryan Hebert.

Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Bonin, Sr. and Cookie Bonin.
