Cynthia Smith Rogers

ST. MARTINVILLE – Funeral Services will be conducted for Ms. Cynthia Smith Rogers, age 52, at 10:00 am Friday, August 17, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Fr. Jose officiating. Interment will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coteau Holmes.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Thursday, August 16, 2012 with a rosary at 6:30 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Friday morning and visitation will continue until service time.

A native and resident of St. Martin Parish, Ms. Rogers passed away at 1:29 am on Tuesday, August 14, 2012.

Cyndi was an employee of Stuller Settings for over fourteen years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Above all, Cyndi was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter; Lacie Chappuis and husband Scott of Arnaudville, son; Barry Jude Rogers, Jr. and wife Cali Romero of Loreauville, sister; Geraldine Sidener and husband Harvy Sidener, III, brothers; Lawrence “Butch” Smith, Jr. and wife Edna of Loreauville, Glenward Smith, Sr. and wife Betty of Kaplan, Randy Smith of Bayou Benoit, Timothy Smith, Sr. and wife Trudy of Loreauville, Allen “Chris” Smith of Coteau Holmes, grandchildren; Alexis Sokol and Ameilla Belle Rogers.

She was preceded in death by her parents Larry Dean Smith, Sr. and Mary Lee Smith of Coteau Holmes.

Pallbearers will be Barry Jude Rogers, Jr., Lawrence “Butch” Smith, Glenward Smith, Sr., Randy Smith, Timothy Smith, Sr., and Scott Chappuis.
