Harry "Lil Harry" Joseph Skipper Jr.

St. MARTINVILLE – Funeral services for Harry Joseph Skipper Jr., 48, will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Evangeline Funeral Home of St. Martinville. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery.

The visitation will be at Evangeline Funeral Home from 8:00 am until the time of his services.

A native and resident of St. Martinville, Mr. Skipper died at 3:50 am on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Iberia Medical Center.

He was employed by Albertson's of Broussard for fourteen years. Harry enjoyed music and phototgraphy, but most importantly spending time with his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife of seven years, Shavone Lavine Skipper; son, Artrail Skipper; daughters, Page Archangel, Montonya Skipper, and Kaijah Skipper; mother, Willie Mae Pete Skipper of St. Martinville; sisters, Bridget Savoy (Dennis Sr.), Nicolette Joseph (Stanford Sr.) both of Lafayette, and Tamara Skipper of St. Martinville; brothers, Roderick Skipper and Jermaine Skipper (Shysha) both of Atlanta, GA., and Jamie Skipper and Crandell Skipper both of St. Martinville.

He was preceded in death by his father, harry Joseph Skipper, Sr.

Pallbearers will be Jermaine Skipper, Crandell Skipper, Stanford Joseph, Sr., Dennis Savoy, Jr., Alton Jackson, and David Thomas, Jr.
