To the Willis family,
Leslie was always a hoot to be around.  Her laughter and good nature where always uplifting to anyone who meet her.  The last time a saw Leslie was about one year ago and she looked good.  
My sympathy goes out to the family and I will keep her in my prayers.

I grew up with Uncle Tommy and Aunt Leslie.  On the weekends when I was with my Papa, I would always call Aunt Leslie and ask her to let me come stay with them for the weekend and she never once let me down.  She took care of me just like my mom would have.  One of my first memories is sitting on the levi with Aunt Leslie making necklaces and bracelets out of the flowers that were growing in the clovers there.  It's one of my favorite memories.  I live in California now and my Papa has passed away and I still spoke to Leslie all the time and will miss knowing that I could call on her.  She shared a lot of my life with me and was one of the few people I still spoke to who knew my Papa so well, so I will miss being able to share those memories with her.  She had the BEST laugh and the best sense of humor and was one of the few genuinely good people I knew. The world is a sadder place without her in it.  I never met you Miss Bertha, but you raised a wonderful woman and my heart goes out to you and your family.

Bertha I am praying for you and your family at this difficut time. I will always remember Leslie's smile.

To the Willis Family, God works his wonders when he sends friends like Leslie into our life exactly when we need them. Thank you Leslie for taken time in getting to know your Kati Loo (like you would call her) and believing in her. You are a very special person to her and she will not forget you!

To the Willis and Louviere families, my thoughts and prayers go out to each and every one of you in this heart breaking time. Leslie was a very caring, loving, and happy person who would give her last dollar to a complete stranger. She was someone who cared about the people and was a positive impact to anyone who met her. Remember to smile in this time of sorrow because she is now back with her one true love, Tommy. No one can deny the fact that Leslie was a special person who always looked out for everyone, the only difference is she is now looking out for us through heavens gates. Bertha, Matt, Callie, Tessie, and all the neices, nephews, and great nieces, you all have a special guardian angel.

Ladies at the Clerks office, my deepest sympothy goes out to all of you ladies. Leslie will always be a part of you also.

To everyone whom was lucky enough to know this amazing lady, may you practice her caring heart and loving hands. If more people were to be a little more like Leslie, the world would be so much better.

I knew Leslie from the clerk's office in St. Martinville.  Always entertaining and funny. She would go out of her way to accommodate your needs--always offering to help. She made you feel that you had been friends for YEARS!!!  She will be sadly missed------Denise Fruge (Abstracter--Lafayette, LA)

Willis family Leslie may be gone but she will never be forgotten.  Please remember that God never gives you a burden bigger than you can bear.  My love, thoughts, and prayers are with you in this sad time.  I think Leslie would rather see a smile on the faces of those who loved and will miss her more than tears.  When Daddy died, my Grandmother told us that "we aren't crying for him we were crying for ourselves".  Somehow that was always a comfort.  Just try to remember the good times.

No words can express the lost  of Leslie, she was one of a kind, she will be greatly miss by the people who loved her, and laughed with her! She & Tommy are together!
