Charles "Bud" Bauer passed away on February 23, 2015 at home in peace. He was a resident of Davenport, Florida for more than 30 years after moving from Candor, New York. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Bauer, and his eldest son, Larry Bauer. He is survived by 2 children, Gary Bauer and Linda Rodriguez, 5 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Bud spent his life building and racing stock cars and go carts. He placed 1st in the 2014 season of go cart racing at the age of 84. Bud was a talented, smart man who could build or fix anything. He was a straight shooter and gave great advice to everyone around him. He passed on his sweet tooth and sarcastic humor to his grandchildren. He will be buried in New York later this year.
