George J Fritz

George Fritz 63, of Boca Raton, FL passed away February 25th after a courageous battle with cancer. George was born in Paterson, NJ in 1952 and raised in Wayne, NJ. He was a graduate of Wayne Valley High School and earned his Bachelor’s degree from Siena College in Loudonville, NY in 1974. It is in these two places George made friends that would be with him for his entire life. He would meet yearly at the Jersey shore with the Siena group and had summer gatherings in Hilton Head with the Wayne gang. George had a successful career in the computer field as a sales executive with Epson which led him to Boca Raton, where his son Zachary was born and raised. George was a good father and extremely proud of Zach, especially his graduation from University of Florida. George was a lifetime runner who enjoyed the beach, golf and surf fishing. With plenty of family in the Tampa Bay area, he was a frequent visitor. Along with Celebrating the holidays with family, he enjoyed the competitive golf matches, attending Bucs and Rays games, and running the Gasparilla 5k race. He was also a lifetime NY Giants fan. He was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Jean Fritz and a brother Rick. Along with his son Zach of Gainsville, FL, George is survived by his brothers Bob and his wife Joanne of Punta Gorda, FL; Kevin and his wife Barbara of Fairfield, NJ; Matt and his partner Deb of Tampa, FL; Jack and his wife Diane of Lake Arrowhead, CA ;sisters Dolores Seuwin and husband Michel of South Pasadena, FL; and Carol Long and her husband John of Lutz, FL; along with many nieces and nephews.
