He was born on August 27, 1994 to his parents Jeff Hall and Karen Cappucci- Miller at Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fl. Even from an early age he displayed skills and interests in a variety of subjects. Examples of these subjects were: His love of animals, mechanical aptitude, spending time outdoors, and his always insatiable appetite for knowledge. This passion for life was not just limited to those examples alone. Jacob had a passion for flying. Jacob was working on his Pilots license and made us proud of his skills and talent. What also defined Jacob were his admirable qualities of love, compassion, and unselfishness. Along with this, is his sense of humor that always followed a smile, or mischievous grin that people say was an example that was not lacking in personality. This was represented by his "dang old man" imitation of Boomhauer, which brought a smile to everyone. As Jacob got older he never strayed away from his core foundation of values and when people had the pleasure of knowing him for years, or just the chance meeting they all echoed the same thing, "What a great guy, kid, or person he is". There is never a shortage of pleasantries when people speak of him. Although he did have a tendency to be a wee bit absent minded as those people who used the boat after him knew. Maybe the boat was out of oil, gas , and or maybe even missing things, like a minor piece of equipment, ex. An Anchor! This added to his character of sometimes resembling an absent minded professor. None the less, what a wonderful human being.
Jacob because of his thirst for knowledge parlayed that into his other endeavors and his desire of a future career. This came through education both formal and informal. He received guidance from Karen, Doug, Jeff, Tom and other numerous loving family members and caring friends. Over the years Jacob spent time as he worked with his grandfather, Doug, and they developed a special bond as he added to Jacob's foundation of moral character. As a student, he gained an abundance of credit hours that he wanted to apply to a Bachelor's degree. Somehow despite his busy student schedule he logged many flight hours that even included solo flight hours. He already had his VFR requirements satisfied and just had to work on his final IFR flights. It reinforced his commitment to his love for flying and his wiliness to work towards his goals and dreams. He also obtained a Security Officer Class D certification that he had hoped to help gain some job related experience. The love of flying, the water and fishing, the success of his studies, and job experience would have been a great transition for him into the Florida Wildlife Commission, which he spoke of working in some capacity. Jacob's other interests not mentioned yet that spoke of his diversity were HAM radio operator, competitive shooting, photography, and many hours spent doing volunteer work.
