Kathryn R Frye

Kathryn Ross Fox Frye, affectionately known as our Rozie Dozie (we’re not sure why), was born on Nov 19, 1938 in Greensburg, PA and stepped into glory on Tuesday (Jan 28, 2025). With the amazing help of their nursing aides, she and husband Bob battled like superheroes over the past three years. The love and dedication that poured forth touched the hearts of all who have watched on. Our sweet Rose is now singing with the angels. Celebrating her life and her legacy of love are Bob Frye and their four children: Bobby (and Lori), T.R. (and Mary Kay), Doug (and Linda), and Beth…9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a constellation of fox’s, frye’s and friends who were touched by her. Kay met her husband, Bob, as a freshman in high school at the first football game, and they were together ever since topping off 68 years of marriage (Hallelujah!). Bob would like to express his heartfelt gratitude to her for being the heart of our family while being the major support beam in his career joking that she probably closed more sales for his job than he did. With every move and transition, Kay recreated herself working as a real estate agent, a wedding planner in a major Chicago hotel and the regional office manager for American Movie Classics. What a rare and tremendous legacy of distinction and love, little Rose! With all our hearts and to the depths of our souls, we love you.
