His picture says it all.  Such a great person- always a smile, always a friend.  It was a pleasure to work with him.  My condolences to his family. He touched many people with his genuine kindness. RIP my friend.

Kurt was a brave guy that lived through some really bad times with courage and few complaints.  I can only hope that when my time comes I have a fraction of his grit.  I was lucky to have know him and been his friend.

We knew this was coming, but it doesn't make it any easier.  My consolation is that you are no longer in pain and are now at peace.  How you faced this with courage, dignity and kept a smile on your face and laughter in your life is an inspiration.  May you be in a better place my friend, my life was enriched by knowing you.

Kurt, I did not know you but we are brothers. We are brothers of x. I'm sure you were a man of integrity and can tell you upheld the ideals of the fraternity by the comments of others. I hope for comfort for your family in this difficult time. I pray that all those who knew you are thankful for the time they shared with you. RIP Brother Kurt,  I can still remember the first day we met at WVU.  You always had a great smile and were quick to make everyone laugh.  I will miss you greatly, and am a better person for knowing you.  My sincere condolences to your family and all of your wonderful friends.  Watch over all of us with that warm and kind heart.

Kurt, I'll always see you as a walking miracle of God. For as long as I've known Erin, I've known you as one of cancer's greatest enemies. We didn't ever spend extended time together.
