Scott is survived and missed by his loving spouse Kathi Dean of over 30 years. He was predeceased by his father Robert Edwin MacVicar. He is survived by mother Jane and step-father John (Myers), his sisters, Jill (Kuipers) and Heather (Webb), and brother- in- laws Remco and Kevin.
His memory lives on with his nieces Emma, Tessa, Nora, Casey, Morgan, Mia and nephew Jack as well as his many, many close friends.
Scott took an active role in the lives of his nieces and nephew, teaching them how to ride bikes, surf, play tennis, golf and paddleboard. He was the wonderful Uncle Scott who always made sure they had the best times.
Scott was an avid bike rider and golfer. He rode everywhere and met people along his journeys. He and Kathi were members of the St. Petersburg Country Club where they enjoyed playing golf together. He loved people and had many, many friends and touched the lives of so many with his enthusiasm.
Car detailing along with gardening and landscaping were his passions. He was so meticulous with making things around him beautiful. He treasured his time being a snowbird in St. Petersburg Florida with Kathi where they enjoyed walking the beaches and watching the sunrise and sunset. Loving life together.
Scott was the one to take the lead in organizing family events. Being with family and making sure everyone was together was one of his greatest joys. He worked hard and was well liked by everyone, mostly due to his positive energy.
His legacy will carry on in our hearts forever reminding us that we should live life to the fullest. This is exactly what Scott did until his very last day “living the life”.
