Ali Maria Gibson, age 46, died peacefully on April 16, 2018 in the comfort of her home surrounded by family and friends, after her battle with cancer. Ali was born December 28, 1971, in Syracuse, New York, the daughter of Frank and Andrea Marino.
Ali and her family moved to Texas in her elementary years. She later attended Clements High School, where she met Jason Gibson. Ali and Jason started a family in Sugar Land, Texas after she attended Stephen F. Austin College. Ali and Jason became parents to Alexis in 1995 and Savannah shortly after in 2000. In 2015 Ali’s soul mate Matt entered her life and remained by her side until she took her last breath.
Ali stayed in Sugar Land for the remainder of her life where she worked as a dental assistant for many years. Ali spent her free time keeping up with the latest fashion trends, decorating her home, and soaking up the sun any chance she got.
Ali is survived by her grandmother, Rose Piro; parents, Frank and Andrea Marino; brother, David Marino and his wife Jessica; daughters, Alexis Rogers and Savannah Gibson; grandson, Bowen; nieces, Elle Rose and Kate Ali Marino; and a number of aunts, uncles, and other relatives.
Our beautiful Ali will be missed greatly by so many.
