BOB SANDLIN, age 81, passed away Monday, March 12, 2012, at his home in Houston. He was born in Seminole, Oklahoma, June 15, 1930, later moving to Texas with his family. Bob graduated from North Texas State University and proudly served in the United States Navy. He was the owner of Sandlin Appraisal Service in Houston, active in the Shriners Arabia Temple, the Elks Lodge, and also an avid golfer. Bob leaves behind his daughters, Laura Sandlin Draper and husband John, and Amy Sandlin Goad and husband Richard; grandchildren, Delilah Draper, Cheyenne Bright, Haley Bright, Race Goad, and Lola Goad; sister, Julia Faye McMackin; nephew, Jerry Ray McMackin; and niece, Judy Kay McMackin Herbert. He will also be missed by many friends. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, on Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at Earthman Southwest Chapel, Stafford. Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery will full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bob’s name may be made to the Arabia Shriners Hospital Benefit, P.O.
