Dear Chloe, 
This winter I’ve been thinking about you, I miss you. Graduation was brought up the other day and I was overcome with sadness. I was sad because you won’t be able to walk the stage we me and our friends. You won’t be handed your diploma. You won’t wear that stupid hat and gown. This was supposed be our year.

Happy Birthday, Chloe. I know and regret that I was not a big part of your life due to my own circumstances , however I still think of you and I pray that you're at peace. I still feel guilty for not being a good friend to you and I wish I tried to reconcile with you or simply talk to you. 
Lofty or not, I hope that in heaven, you get this message and that again, i am deeply sorry. I pray you know my circumstances and the effect they had on me, even if it doesn't excuse me being distant and not trying to reconnect with you.

chloe, this is late and I’m so sorry I didn’t find out sooner, nor contact you beforehand. we were online friends for only a short period during COVID , and I was under horrible social circumstances at school  and a battle with my own head. i allowed anxiety to consume me and affect my decisions, which led to me becoming a crappy friend to you and that in itself is not excusable. you did not deserve anything you went through, i should have known better and I should have been there for you. i pray that you are at rest now, that you are in peace, and that you’re aware of how funny you were, kind-hearted, and an overall sweet person. there was various times you made me smile and laugh when nobody else did, and you were there for me when I was struggling with my self image. i hope we can meet again in the next life, and ill make it up to you then. you deserved the world and more for whatever may have troubled your mind, and again, i hope that you’re at peace.

Hey! I wasn't close to chole but one thing I remember is when I was lost in Scanlan and she was the one who showed me around! (It was one of the kindest things ever) I also know her brother well and he's a great guy!!

I don’t know that there’s anything worse in the world than burying your child. I didn’t know Chloe, but I know you Jamie. You are kind, compassionate, funny, and have one of the biggest hearts of anyone I’ve met.  I have no doubt you passed along some of those traits to your baby girl. She’s left a hole that will never be filled. Keep your family close and support each other during this awful time.  I can’t be there to support you tomorrow bc I’ll be working. I had known Chloe for just about 60 days, and in that short set of time I realized how much of a bright, young, outgoing, kind, and caring person she was. She helped me learn about myself and that means a lot to me. I wish the best to her family and friends who have to go through this very unfortunate situation.

Madeline and Chloe went through Scanlan, Thornton and now RPHS together.  Chloe!!!  Always SO kind to Madeline and encouraging to her during Madeline’s dark depression years.  Always smiling and sweet - that’s her legacy to our Madeline …. “She made me smile every time  I saw her!”

I had both Chloe and Nathan in class at Thornton Middle School. I enjoyed having them, and  I am so, so sorry for your loss. 

May the Lord our God give you the strength and comfort that you need in times like this. This Earth is not our home, we are just passing through. I have no words to express my condolence nor words that can lift you up through this difficult time. I will keep the whole family in my prayers tonight and every night.
