She is survived by Ruben, her husband of 47 years; two sons, Christopher John Govea and wife Yongson Kim, Jonathan Andrew Govea and girlfriend Jamie; grandchildren Sophia Annalie Govea and Nicholas John Govea; sisters Myrna Bernabe and Lourdes Wilson-Nelson; brothers Fred Bello Jr., Manny Bello and Arnold Bello.
She is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Adela Bello.
Connie is most proud of her two sons and her two grandchildren. She spoke often about them in glowing terms.
Connie will be sorely missed in her parish community as she was involved in many ministries on top of being the Liturgy Coordinator. Some of her stewardships: Altar Society, St. Joseph Society, Jesus the Black Nazarene group, Filipino group of Holy Family, Catholic Daughters of America, lector steward and liturgy steward. She always tried to make sure everything was ready for all parish functions.
She was always attempting to make sure her husband was taken care of. Connie always had a smile for everyone and would do anything to help when someone needed aid. Her many friends at Holy Family will attest to that. Connie loved dancing and would often be seen on the floor of many fundraising dances. Her husband would try to keep up, but often failed. Full of life was Connie. Anyone who knew her knew her goodness and kind heart.
We have lost a precious gem here on earth, but Heaven has gained a special angel. She will look down on her family and be their guardian angel.
She will be so missed by so many.
