DIANE DAVIS UPDIKE, was born in Boonville, Indiana on August 10, 1934. Diane passed away on March 26, 2014 in Sugar Land, Texas. She was retired from Park Place of Stafford as the Administrator. Diane was the second Woman in Houston to Join the Kiwanis Organization, which until 1987 only allowed men. Diane is survived by her husband Gary; daughters, Kim and husband J.T., and daughter Karla; son, Kevin and wife Stacy; grandchildren, Katya and fiancé Ryen, Kody, Makaela and husband Kelly; great- grandchildren, Kolt and Kylie; brother, Jim and wife Claire; and numerous nieces and nephew. A Memorial Celebration of Diane’s life will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 30, 2014, Earthman Southwest Chapel, 12555 S. Kirkwood Stafford, TX 77477. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Diane's names to, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Diane's family would like to personally thank Dr Bhuchar, Dr. Tang, Dr. Tripathy, Dr. Shah, Dr. Josh, and Dr Khan, and all the Nurses at Methodist Sugar Land Hospital for all of their compassionate and attentive care.
