

FAIRY HEITMAN, age 73 of Sugar Land, a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully in her sleep Thursday October 11, 2012 in Sugar Land. Fairy was born July 27, 1939 in Clark County, MS, to M.C. “Cronnie” and Grace Day. The family moved to Texas when Fairy was twelve years old. A longtime and faithful member of Sugar Creek Baptist Church, she loved serving the Lord, and always enjoyed helping others. Fairy and her husband Will traveled on over twenty mission trips around the world, to assist in dental clinics, and to share the gospel with others. She enjoyed baking pies for her dear family and many friends. Fairy is survived by her loving and faithful husband, Dr. Will Heitman, they would have celebrated their 49th anniversary next month, her sons, Keith and his wife Jane of Sugar Land, Kerry and his wife Denise of Edmond, OK; and her daughter, Karen and her husband Paul of Sugar Land; grandchildren, Cody, Candace, Kelsie, Katie, Kellie, Jessica, Ben and Will; sister, Carolyn Tarver and husband Carlos; uncle, John (Bud) Day and wife June, of Shubuta, Mississippi; and numerous other loving relatives and many friends. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 14, 2012, Earthman Southwest Chapel, 12555 S. Kirkwood, Stafford. A Celebration of Fairy’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 15, 2012 in the Worship Center of Sugar Creek Baptist Church, 13223 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, with a reception to follow. Interment will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Rosenberg, TX. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Fairy’s name to Bethel Ministry for Project SMILE, in memory of her nephew Stan, PO Box 280, Stafford, TX 77477 or to Dress for Service program of Southwestern Seminary Houston Campus, 4105 Broadway St., Houston TX 77087.
