

Lilia M. Arceo, of Sugar Land, Texas and Quezon, Philippines, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 1, 2012, at the age of 89. Born on June 29, 1922, Nanay, as she was fondly called, was a loving wife and mother who devoted her time raising her family of ten children. She was a woman of quiet composure, always with a ready smile on her face, and enjoyed being around her children and grandchildren. Nanay was the pillar of strength of her family and she will always be remembered as a very prayerful and God-fearing person. She will forever be missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rosalino; son, Zenon; and daughter, Flores. Nanay is survived by her eight children: daughter, Rosalie del Fierro and her son Marco; daughter, Myrna Zamora and sons Samuel and Oliver; daughter, Fe Robles and husband Anthony and their children, Patricia, Beatriz and Jose Marie; son, Romeo Arceo and wife Evelyn and their children, Brian, Dennise, Ramon and Raphael; daughter, Isabel Velasco and husband Alberto and their children Stephanie and Derrick; son, Arsenio Arceo and wife Rosebella and their sons Kervin, Kyle, Kendall and Koby; daughter, Erlinda Zoleta and husband Ramon and their sons Joshua and Jacob; daughter, Maria Castro and husband Bedo and their children Michael and Kimberly; daughter-in-law, Nora and her children Lloyd, Ronald and Roschel; grandson, Chris Arceo; great grandchildren, Tomas, Luiz, Alisha and Brent; sisters, Mely Oliveros, Elisa Ramos, and Armela Alcantara; and several nephews and nieces. Visitation with the family will be held from 10:00 AM to 9:0 0PM, on Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at Earthman Southwest Chapel, 12555 South Kirkwood, Stafford, TX 77477, with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, on Thursday, March 8, 2012, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 705 St. Theresa Boulevard, Sugar Land, TX 77478. Rite of Committal will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, Houston.
