Milton E Perry Jr.

Milton “Gene” Eugene Perry, Jr., age 71, of Houston, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. He was born November 13, 1949 in Abilene, Texas and graduated from Hardin Simmons University with a bachelor’s degree in Law Enforcement. He later moved to Houston, Texas in 1976 where he worked as a security manager at Citizens General Hospital and at Park Plaza Hospital. He earned the title of CPP (Certified Protection Professional) which is considered the “gold standard” certification for security management professionals.

Gene was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was known for his kind heart, his quick wit, and his sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rebecca Tabeta Perry; his children Heather P. Briceno, Kimberly P. Carroll, and Samson C. Perry; his sons-in-law Michael J. Carroll and Gonzalo M. Briceno VII; and his grandchildren Gonzalo M. Briceno VIII, Samantha A. Carroll, Michael J. Carroll, Jr., Makenna R.J. Carroll, and Cooper Eugene J. Carroll.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2020, 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM with the funeral service immediately following at the Earthman Southwest Chapel, 12555 South Kirkwood, Stafford, TX.
