

Mitchell K. Cuevas of Houston, Texas passed away Oct. 8, 2010 from a continuous illness. He was born Sept. 10, 1963 in Gulfport, MS. He graduated from Ringgold High School in 1981. He relocated to Houston, Texas June 1982. He was employed with Quality Security Services, Inc for 26 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd J. Cuevas, grandparents and aunt Josephine Pague. Survivors include his wife, Paula Michelle Cuevas Crestview; sons, Jourdan and Dakota; daughters, Ellyn and Kelley of Crestview, FL; mother, Betty S. Weekley, Houston; brother, Stephen G. Cuevas and his wife Linda of Andalusia, AL; sisters, Deanna K. Zeh and her husband John and Melissa Nguyen and her husband Vu, Houston; aunts, Patsy Lasko, Frances Turner, Sue Walters, Peggy Wilson, Eula Rivers and Diane Schultz. uncles, Herman Pague, Mike Walters, Jerry Wilson, Richard Rivers, Martin Shultz. Countless loving cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, employees, and friends. Family and friends may call at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home, 12555 South Kirkwood, Saturday Oct. 16 at 2:00 PM for a celebration of Mitchell’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to Good Hope Missionary Church, 8727 Kalewood Drive, Houston, TX 77099. These contributions will be used to feed and clothe the poor and hungry. There will also be a celebration of Mitchell’s life in Gulfport, MS, to be announced.
