Nellie Burns, 90, passed away on September 2, 2016 in Meadows Place, Texas. She was born on September 18, 1925 in Clairton, Pennsylvania to Mile Cheran and Stella Evosevich Cheran who precedes her in death along with 4 sisters, 2 brothers, and her husband Ralph Burns. She is survived by 1 brother, Melvin Cheran and his wife Mara; 5 children, Ralph Burns, Jr. and his wife Dianna, Lynda Burns, David Burns, Paul Burns, and Jane Burns; 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veteran's Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038.
