

Patricia was the third of nine children born to Alvin and Maud (Groves) Curling.
Patricia was baptized at St. Michael's Anglican Church, where she attended throughout her childhood in Jamaica. After completing high school in 1955, she moved to England to attend college. In 1960, she returned to Jamaica and married Huntley Mark Hamilton. Together, they had two daughters, Althea and Lisa Simone.
Patricia later moved to Houston, Texas, in 1981, where her faith remained a cornerstone of her life. She joined Hope Episcopal Church and was a devoted
member for many years.
Known affectionately by many names - Pat, Ms. Pat, Ms. Patsy, Mommy, Grandma, Grammy, and Aunt Pat-Patricia was a beacon of kindness and warmth, touching the lives of everyone she encountered. Her deep love for children led her to become a foster parent with Harris County Children's Protective Services. Over 30 years, she fostered and cared for over 200 children, particularly infants, providing each one with love and stability during their time in the Child Welfare System.
Patricia was a humble servant of God, steadfast in her faith until the very end. She is survived by her ex- husband, Huntley Mark Hamilton of Florida; her daughters, Lisa Simone (Leonard IIl) Sparks of Texas; Stephanie Streete of California and son, AJ (Crystal) Hamilton of Texas; her brothers, Owen (Zola) Curling; Alvin (Hyacinth) Curling, Oswin (Evelyn) Curling, of Toronto, Canada and Chester (Grace) Curling, of Florida; grandchildren, Walter, Kaylee, Peyton, Christian, Mallory, Rose, Elena, Avery, Asher, Alexander, and Aiden.
Special acknowledgment goes to Yvonne Streete, Bessie Steward, and Hope Douglas, her "other sisters," whose love and support meant so much to Patricia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Barbara Williams of New York, Margaret (Madge) Tulloch of Florida, and Ouida Hart of Georgia; her brothers, Arthur and Roy of England and Dennis of Maryland.
