

Robert “Bob” Bonneau passed away after a valiant 15-year battle with multiple myeloma on June 23, 2023, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 84. Bob was born in Angleton, Texas, on February 27, 1939, to Paul and Inez Bonneau.
He is preceded in death by Joan McStay Bonneau, his loving wife of 53 years, his parents Paul and Inez, and eight siblings, Mary Louise Garrett, Donald Bonneau, JoAnn Bonneau, Pauline Sebesta, Paul Bonneau, Margie Foudray, Dorothy Finley, and Joyce Coley. He is survived by his daughter Laura Bonneau and his brother James Bonneau.
Bob graduated in 1962 from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. He married the love of his life, Joan, on February 17, 1968, and they welcomed daughter Laura in 1977. Bob worked as a maintenance engineer for 35 years, retiring from Exxon-Mobil in 1998. He enjoyed gardening, golfing with his brothers, helping his neighbors, and spending time with his family.
A visitation with a Rosary will be held on Wednesday, June 28 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home, 12555 South Kirkwood Road in Stafford.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 29 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Albert's of Trapani Catholic Church, 11027 South Gessner Road in Houston.
The Rite of Committal will be held on Thursday, June 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Angleton Cemetery, 328 Cemetery Road in Angleton.
