ROBERT C. GAMEZ, JR., age 74, passed away Monday, September 10, 2012, in Sugar Land. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, achieving rank of Airman First Class, until being honorably discharged in 1961. Robert was past Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Houston Council 803, and a fourth degree member of the George A. Wilhelm Assembly 1094. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Josefina Gamez; sister, Guadalupe Huff; son, Allynne Gamez; and daughter, Madeline Morris. Robert is survived by his wife, Mary “Lucy” Gamez; son, John Gamez; daughter, Michelle Luna (Eugene); sisters, Gloria Almendarez and Edelia Jimenez; brother, Roque Gamez; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Thursday, September 13, 2012, at Earthman Southwest Chapel, Stafford, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM, on Friday, September 14, 2012, at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 7720 Boone Rd., Houston. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan G.
