Rodolfo "Rudy" Hinojosa Sr.

Rodolfo "Rudy" Hinojosa, 84, passed away on December 19, 2024, in Houston, Texas. Born on July 16, 1940 in Chihuahua, Mexico, Rudy was a compassionate and dedicated individual known for his kind-hearted and caring nature. He was always ready to lend a helping hand and remained a loyal and hardworking presence in both his personal and professional life.

Rudy proudly served in the Air Force, where he demonstrated his commitment and discipline, qualities that he carried throughout his life. After his military service, he joined WKM, a valve manufacturing company, where he dedicated many years, working his way up to the position of Inspector before retiring in 1999.

He is survived by his loving wife, Amelia, his son Rudy Jr. and Monica; son Gabe and wife Julie; their children: Thomas and Jessica; sisters Anna and Rafaela Gardea; brothers-in-law, Danny Banda and wife Becky and Jesse Banda and wife Chris. He is preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice.

In his leisure time, Rudy enjoyed spending moments with his grandchildren. His love for music and dancing brought him great joy, especially tunes from the ‘50’s and ‘60’s.

Rudy leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and an unwavering spirit of generosity. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
