RYAN ANTHONY STROM, beloved son, brother, grandson, cousin and friend, left the pains of this world behind on Oct. 24, 2011. We who love him are lonely for our boy with the "heart of a lion," but we know he has found peace.
Ryan was born Jan. 1, 1989, in Houston, the son of Kernest W. and Charlotte M. Strom. He lived in Stafford most of his life, attending kindergarten through his 2007 high school graduation at Stafford Municipal School District. He was the bridge in the family between his older brother, Jason, and his younger sister, Allison. Ryan's Grandfather Strom liked to say he had the "heart of a lion" as he was very athletic and competitive. He exceled in football, basketball, and swim team and used his competitive fire in video game playing, where he was well known for his skills. Ryan also was famous for his gorgeous blue eyes and was voted "Prettiest Eyes" at school several times.
Ryan was preceded in death by his father, Kernest Strom; a grandfather, Gerald A. Strom; and a great-grandfather, Robert Strom. He is being missed by his mother; brother; and sister, as well as his grandmother, Sandra K. Strom of Spring; grandparents, Sammy and Patsy Neal of Cleveland; great-grandmother, Florence Strom of Titusville, Fla.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. We love you, Ryan.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 29, 2011, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 14555 Lexington Blvd., Sugar Land. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM, at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Freeway, Houston.
