Alan Johnson Sr.

Alan was born in Alexandria, Va. and moved to Stafford, Va. when he was 13 years old. This is where he met the love of his life Brenda. Alan and Brenda were married at a very young age and against all odds stayed married for 42 years and 10 months before his passing.

Together they loved and enjoyed family, camping, dancing, singing, going on vacations, riding his Harley, and recently started riding an electric bike. Alan loved life and would light up any room he entered. He didn’t know a stranger. If you knew him, you loved him. His laugh and personality will be loved and missed by many.

Alan is survived by his wife Brenda; daughter, Brandi (Darryl); son, Alan Jr. (Jen); grandchildren, Destini, Mason, Caden, Garrett, Gavin and Gage; great grandchildren, Kenslee and Ellie who is on the way; his fur babies, Eddie & Grace; his siblings, Gail, Alice, Lynn (Bobby), Jeremiah (Sabrina) & Katherine and his life long friend Mike.

He is preceded by his mother Carol and father James.

The family will receive friends at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Home located 186 Shelton Shop Rd. In Stafford, Va. June 27, 2023, visitation is 5PM-6PM and a service following at 6PM.
