Christopher James Rector

Chris was born September 27, 1967 in New York.

Chris was employed as a manager at Campbells Bottle Gas Co. for 9 years. Besides the love of his job and family, he enjoyed riding his Harley, watching NASCAR, and rooting for the Cowboys.

Survived by his mother Winifred Fabian of Lorton, VA and his father Donald J. Rector and Michelle Cook of New York; his wife Tina Rector, two daughters, Angela Rector of Fredericksburg and Catherine Carlyle and husband Kevin of Culpeper; two sons, Bobby Coble and wife Tina, of Fredericksburg, Aaron Gardner and wife Michele, of North Carolina; as well as five grandchildren, Victoria Coble, Jenah Fisher, Triston Carlyle, Kaylee Coble and Jayson Carlyle, who lovingly referred to him as Pap Pap.

Other survivors include two sisters, Elizabeth Rose Rector, Patricia Ann Rector and a brother, Shaun Michael Rector.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel 186 Shelton Shop Rd.

A funeral service will be conducted Thursday December 9, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with interment to follow at Stafford Memorial Park.
