Coleman Alan Venable, born July 20th, 1990, passed away on December 26th, 2019, at the age of 29. He is survived by his father, Bryan Venable; his younger brother, Austin Venable; as well as numerous extended family members, and countless friends and acquaintances that he befriended in his time.
He is preceded in death by his beautiful, loving mother, Deborah Venable.
In his youth, Coleman grew up in Woodbridge/Stafford area. He enjoyed playing his guitar, riding his longboard, playing video games with his brother and friends, and spending time on the Rappahannock River with his family.
Coleman had to overcome great adversity when his mother suddenly passed away in July 2005, when he was 15. In this time, he displayed leadership and courage as he led his then 6 year old brother and took care of him. Coleman acted as a guardian and a brother, and was incredibly influential and crucial to his brother’s development.
Coleman graduated from Mountain View High school in 2008. A jack of all trades, he had a natural talent for working with his hands, and showed a particular love for auto body work. Coleman was known and loved for his light hearted attitude, empathy, perseverance, sense of humor, and goofy smile. He had a tremendous effect on all those he met in his lifetime, and would never turn his back to a friend who needed help.
