She is survived by her daughter, Tanya Carlson, and husband Tom; adopted son, Brian Quang Duong and wife and three children; brother, Than Nguyen; four grandchildren, Amanda Brown-Pettingill, William Brown Jr, Ryan Bui, Eric Bui-Nguyen, three step grandchildren, Carina Carlson-Smith, Lionel Carlson and Jay Carlson; two great grandchildren, Asher and Lucas Brown, and five step great children, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Bui Brown, two sisters Bien and Dung Nguyen and a brother Lam Nguyen.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 31, 2021 from 12-2:00 pm, at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Home, Stafford Chapel, with a celebration of life beginning at 2:00 pm at Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Inurnment will be at a later date.
