I miss singing Our God is Awesome with you, but i know you are in the presence of our Heavenly Father. Will always have nothing but fond memories of  you.



 

Ms. Helms, although our lives crossed paths for just a short while, I am a better person for knowing you. May you rest in peace. Jerry

I will always remember your big smile and friendly personality. You were a source of spiritual strength and guidance. You were a living testimony of God’s grace and mercy. I will remember the Thursday’s that we spent together reading the Bible, listening to gospel music, eating and watching episodes of My 600 Pound Life, our lunches and dinners out with Joseph and our long conversations. You never failed to ask how the cat boys were doing.
Your physical presence will be missed but you will always be in my heart.  Rest in Heavenly Peace Mother Helm!

Ms. Mae has been our neighbor for years. We always enjoyed seeing her sitting on the front porch enjoying the beautiful weather. Always with a beautiful smile & kind words. When we got out lil pitbull puppy, Ms. Mae just loved on her, holding her in her lap every chance she could till she got too big. She would always ask for her, laughing every time I offered to give it to telling me she was to hyper. 

Ms.  Mae never hesitated to call if she needed anything, which I am grateful for.  Day or night I would answer her call, at times calling Brenda to make sure she knew I was over checking on her.  What's the value of having a nurse next door if you can't call on her. 

Ms. Mae was always dressed to the T! Danni & I loved to see her beautiful outfits everyday. 

We'll miss your smile & beautiful soul, but tou will forever be in our hearts.

Mother Helm as we both called her was like our very own mother.  She would always call Lori her daughter also so Brenda had to share her with us.  She also always reminded Bishop one day you will get old too.  As we picked her up on Sunday for church she was a lady of great pride and when she would get in the car she would say Bishop turn your head, so I can get in with my dress on.  She fought a good fight and she won the prize she is resting with Jesus she has the victory.

Rest in peace Mother Helm.  Thank you for the spiritual guidance and encouragement, and for being an example of God's work.  Until we meet again at the other shore...
