Born on December 7,1957, Ferri was a cherished wife, sister, aunt and friend whose presence brought warmth and joy to all that knew her.
She came to the United States in the late 70's to attend college and earn her degree in Computer Science. She met her husband during her college years when he came to install telephone lines in her brother’s house in Vienna, Virginia. They were married on January 15, 1983. Ferri spent over 25 years working for various travel management fulfillment service companies that specialized in travel for the military and federal government. She was very well traveled, with one of her favorite destinations being Machu Picchu.
Ferri was passionate about so many things in life, but the biggest was how she felt about her family. She loved and adored her many nieces and nephews and all their children. She was everyone’s aunt Ferri. She had the most infectious laugh and beautiful smile. She spent hours playing games and keeping her grand-nieces and nephews entertained.
In addition to her always optimistic personality, Ferri was a pillar of strength and resilience. She faced life’s challenges with grace and courage, serving as an inspiration to her family and friends.
While we mourn her passing, we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and reunited with loved ones who have gone before her.
A visitation for Ferri will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 9:30 AM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service. The address is 186 Shelton Shop Road, Stafford, Virginia 22554. The burial is at 1:30 PM at Quantico National Cemetery.
