Frank Reed Spicer Jr., 74 of Fredericksburg, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2011 at his residence. He was a US Marine Corps veteran and retired as Superintendant of Facilities for the city of Alexandria.
He is survived by his wife, Constance; two sons, Frank Spicer III of Stafford and Eric Spicer of Woodbridge ; three grandchildren, Jeremy, Derek, and Gillian; five sisters, Frances Wagner of Elkridge, MD, Beverly Case of Fulton, MD, Mary Jane Hawk of Hagerstown, MD, and Joyce Cavanaugh and Joan Ricker both of Williamsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel on Monday, April 18, 2011 from 7-9 PM. A service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 1:00 PM, with interment to follow in Stafford Memorial Park.
