Mr. Thomas was born on June 12, 1934 in Alexandria, Virginia to John and Mary Sheffield Thomas.
He was an avid collector of classic automobiles and a football fan, and was employed in auto sales prior to his retirement.
Survivors include his loving wife of 34 years Debra; daughter, Cheryl Kull and husband Patrick of St. Stephens, VA. Along with two grandchildren and one great grandchild. Other survivors include a brother, John Thomas and wife Dian of Florida; two sisters, Rose Marie Thomas of Springfield, VA. and Nancy Stutzman of Annandale, VA.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 14 from 7-9 PM at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Home, Stafford Chapel 186 Shelton Shop Road.
