

Jaylen was kind, loving and generous. His outgoing nature and brilliant smile brought laughter and joy to everyone he knew. Jaylen was bold, adventurous, and full of life. He loved his family, working out, cooking, and dancing.
Jaylen graduated from Caroline High School in Milford, Virginia in May of 2021 and went on to complete his E.M.T. certification. However, he found great joy in his full-time job as a Lawn Care Technician, where he worked since 2022. Jaylen was also an active member of Journey Fellowship Church in Stafford, VA.
Jaylen was funny, smart, and kind. He was a wonderful son, grandson, brother, and friend. He will be dearly missed by his mother, Julia Delores and her husband, Thomas Eugene Smith and his father Scott Minshall Kines. He will also be missed by his siblings, Aiyana, Amira, Ava, Scott Jr., William, and Meridian. He will be missed by his grandmother, Debra Snyder, and grandparents Maria Crovetto and Dan and Jacqueline Androeli. He will also be deeply missed by a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A visitation for Jaylen will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554, followed by a celebration of life at 12:00 PM.
